Job summary

Astrana Health is seeking an accomplished accounting leader in Alhambra, CA to own the Care Partners general ledger, close calendar, and period-end reporting. You will deliver financial statements, perform flux analysis, and substantiate the balance sheet for CFO/CAO.

You will drive close acceleration, design SOX 404 controls, and supervise a multi-site accounting team. Healthcare experience and CPA are required, with strong collaboration across auditors and executives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field and CPA required.
• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 3+ years leading a multi-entity function.
• Deep knowledge of US GAAP and SEC reporting requirements.
• Hands-on SOX 404 design, documentation, remediation, and external audit support in a public company.
• Healthcare experience in risk-bearing or capitated environment with capitation revenue and IBNR.
• Experience in multi-entity standardization and automation.

Responsibilities

• Own the Care Partners general ledger, close calendar, and period-end reporting with statements, flux analysis, and balance-sheet substantiation.
• Drive close acceleration and standardization across segment entities, reducing cycle time.
• Design and operate SOX 404 controls for revenue, capitation, claims, and related IT controls; lead remediation.
• Own accounting for complex revenue arrangements including capitation and shared-risk payments.
• Partner with actuarial/medical economics on claims liability and IBNR estimates; challenge inputs.
• Lead integration of acquired physician groups onto policies, COA, and control framework.
• Identify and reduce manual effort; own automation and ERP initiatives.
• Coordinate with external auditor, internal audit, and regulators as primary accounting contact.
• Lead and develop segment accounting team across multiple offices.
