Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred).
• 8+ years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and internal controls.
• Experience in a privately held or mid-sized company environment.
• Proficiency with accounting systems (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, ERP platforms).
• Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
• Prepare and review financial statements.
• Maintain the general ledger and chart of accounts in GAAP.
• Manage accounts payable, receivable, billing, and payroll accounting.
• Ensure proper revenue recognition and expense classification.
• Design and maintain internal accounting controls.
• Monitor cash flow, working capital, and liquidity.
• Lead annual budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Prepare variance analysis and insights for leadership.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and banking partners.
• Ensure compliance with tax and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee accounting systems and drive process improvements and automation.
• Manage, develop, and mentor accounting staff.
• Support strategic initiatives and projects.
