Job summary

Investments & Wealth Institute is seeking an experienced Controller to lead its accounting function, oversee financial reporting, and strengthen internal controls. The role requires strong technical accounting expertise, audits experience, and leadership of accounting staff.

The Controller will manage close processes, ASC 606 revenue recognition, and a major Sage Intacct implementation, partnering with the CFO and executives to support planning and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience including month-end close and audits.
• Experience supervising staff and managing a departmental budget.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, ASC 606, and cloud-based accounting systems.

Responsibilities

• Set strategy and priorities for the accounting function with the CFO.
• Lead monthly and year-end close, targeting 10 business days.
• Prepare financial statements, variance analysis and reports for leadership and committee.
• Own the general ledger, chart of accounts and reconciliations; manage internal controls.
