Job summary

DLC is seeking a Controller to join our team in Chicago. The role focuses on leading corporate accounting, financial reporting, budgeting and FP&A activities for diverse client engagements.

The ideal candidate has a CPA or in process, strong US GAAP knowledge, and extensive ERP experience, with the ability to manage large data sets in Excel. A Fortune 1000 background is required, and a proactive, detail-oriented approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field.
• CPA license or in process.
• Experience in a Fortune 1000 company required.
• ERP experience and ability to manipulate large data sets in Excel.
• Knowledgeable in US GAAP.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and presentation skills; attention to detail.
• Self-motivated and proactive in seeking challenges.

Responsibilities

• Manage corporate accounting activities including close process and financial statements.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting and global financial reporting.
• Support SEC reporting and related schedules.
