Job summary

Jobot is seeking a dynamic Controller to join our fast-paced Finance team in Minneapolis. You will oversee daily financial operations, including monthly close, GL, AR, AP, and taxes, ensuring accurate data and timely reporting.

The ideal candidate has a 5+ year background in senior finance roles, a strong knowledge of GAAP and automated reporting systems, and excellent communication skills. We offer competitive pay and benefits, plus growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA or Master’s preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior-level finance or accounting position.
• Knowledge of GAAP, budgeting, cost control, and automated financial reporting systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes.
• Manage monthly close, journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting.
• Develop and implement financial systems and processes.
• Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Manage cash flow and forecasting.
• Ensure contract billing and revenue recognition align with policies.
• Update finance policies and procedures manual.
• Communicate critical financial matters to management.
