Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting required.
• 10+ years of related experience required.
• Excellent management and supervisory skills.
• Proficient in accounting software and MS Office.
• Strong analytical thinking and data-backed decision making.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a documented system of accounting policies and controls.
• Oversee production of periodic financial reports compliant with GAAP.
• Recommend benchmarks to measure company performance.
• Direct and monitor workers' compensation program for compliance.
• Produce annual budgets/forecasts and report variances.
• Provide financial analysis for capital investments, pricing decisions, and contracts with COO.
• Coordinate with external vendors for audits.
• Monitor retirement plans and 5500s; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Supervise accounting staff and HR staff as described.
