Vessel Advisors is helping a growing consumer‑products company in the San Fernando Valley fill a hands‑on Controller role. You will own the entire accounting function, partner with leadership, and drive timely, accurate financial reporting for a fast‑moving multichannel business.

Key focus areas include month‑end close, ecommerce accounting, inventory/COGS, internal controls, and ERP policy governance. Candidates should bring 7+ years in accounting and strong GAAP expertise.

Qualifications

• 7+ years experience in accounting leadership roles.
• E-commerce / DTC / consumer-products accounting experience preferred.
• Hands-on ownership of full-cycle month-end close and financial statement prep.
• Experience with marketplace reconciliation, inventory/COGS, and multi-state tax a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own the full accounting operations including cash across channels and reconciliations.
• Manage month-end close and production of financial statements.
• Oversee ecommerce accounting, tax nexus, returns reserves, and channel margins.
• Maintain internal controls and ERP policy compliance; manage banking relationships.
