Job summary

AHI Supply LP in Texas is seeking a Senior Controller to lead all accounting operations across our growing regional construction materials platform. You will oversee AP, AR, GL, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting to support rapid expansion.

The role partners with executives to shape growth strategy, ensure GAAP compliance, manage audits, and optimize systems (Macola) and data dashboards for decision making.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of progressive accounting experience in distribution/manufacturing.
  • CPA preferred; M&A and PE exposure beneficial.
  • Advanced Excel and ERP experience.

Responsibilities

AHI Supply is seeking a high-level accounting professional to oversee financial strategy, reporting, compliance, and operational accounting across our growing regional construction supply platform in Texas. We are a well-established regional distribution and manufacturer of quality construction materials specializing in custom architectural products including Spectrum Colored Cements, stucco coatings, foundation and masonry products and structural steel.

AHI Supply is a leading manufacturer and supplier of quality construction products. Founded in 1982, AHI takes pride in offering quality products, superior knowledge, on-time deliveries and committed customer service in all major Texas markets.

In December 2025 the company formed a strategic partnership with private-equity firm High Street Capital, which provides additional growth capital and operational support to execute the next phase of expansion, including acquisitions and additional locations.

For the next stage, AHI is focused on expanding through new locations, acquisitions and organic growth with additional adjunct product offerings on the roadmap. The incoming Senior Controller will play a central role in enabling that growth trajectory and continuing to build the financial infrastructure to support it.

Compensation

Competitive base salary plus performance-based bonus. Long-term incentive opportunities available through Unit Appreciation Rights (UARs) tied to both individual contribution and company growth. The salary range will be $115k - $140k depending on experience.

Responsibilities
  • Lead all accounting operations (AP, AR, and GL)
  • Manage consolidated financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Manage the annual general liability insurance renewal process and coordinate with brokers to ensure adequate coverage for property, product liability, worker’s comp, and fleet operations.
  • Monitor cash flow and working capital across multiple active projects and pipelines
  • Develop financial dashboards and KPIs for executive leadership
  • Manage banking relations and covenant compliance with lenders
  • Manage the full accounting lifecycle of truck fleet in accordance with GAAP lease accounting standards
  • Ensure GAAP compliance, tax coordination, and audit readiness working with 3 rd party accounting firms.
  • Drive improvements to reporting systems (Macola accounting software experience a plus)
Ideal Candidate
  • 7+ years of progressive accounting experience with strong preference for product distribution in the construction industry (concrete, roofing, lumber, cement, etc.)
  • CPA preferred
  • M&A experience preferred
  • Private Equity experience a plus
  • Advanced Excel proficiency and ERP/systems experience
