Job summary
Thermo Systems is seeking a Lead Control Systems Technician to provide on-site technical support for control system projects and service teams. You will travel to client locations for installations, maintenance, or repairs of control systems and report to project leads or supervisors.
Ideal candidates have 3+ years as a lead technician and strong knowledge of HMI and PLC applications, with a focus on quality and safety on site.
Qualifications
- Associate in Applied Science or Associate in Science in Engineering Technology, Computer Information Systems Technology, relevant curriculum, or experience.
- Typically, 3 to 7+ years industry experience.
- Proven Track Record: 3+ years as Lead Control Systems Technician I or equivalent.
Responsibilities
- Lead and assist in project installation, start-up and commissioning of control systems.
- Lead and perform instrument loop checks and calibrations.
- Expert in maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of control systems.
- Lead and perform Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT).
- Wire instruments and control panels.
- Demonstrate intermediate understanding of HMI and PLC applications.
- Understand and interpret piping & instrumentation diagrams.
