Job summary

NPAworldwide is seeking a Senior Automation Engineer for a leading global systems integration firm. The role focuses on critical process and safety control systems across various industries, including Oil & Gas, LNG, and chemicals.

Responsibilities include PLC/DCS architecture design, HMI development, FAT, and field startup support. Willingness to travel to customer sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with ten (10) years minimum of related control system experience.
• Strong knowledge of ISA, TUV, IEC, ATEX, API, and NFPA guidelines that apply to safety system designs.
• Experience with safety instrumented systems (SIS) and SIL calculations are highly beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Interpreting customer specifications and translating into control panel drawings and BOMs.
• Develop control system strategies for PLC and DCS architectures.
• Develop HMI screens and configurations for OWs/EWS and historians.
• Support FAT testing, on-site commissioning, and customer training.
