Job summary
Twenty-Six Defense, based in Fort Worth, TX, seeks a Sr System Engineer to support development, analysis, and integration of linear, non-linear, and digital control systems. You will work with customers to capture requirements, collaborate across design domains, and produce concepts, specs, and verifications.
Domestic/international travel ~10–15% is expected. The role emphasizes proposal support, cost estimating, and high‑quality technical documentation, with a strong emphasis on communication
Qualifications
- BS in Electrical/Mechanical/Aeronautical or related field
- 5+ years in Servo/ Motion Control or Navigation
- Experience with linear and non-linear control, including digital control preferred
Responsibilities
- Attend customer meetings to understand requirements for control systems
- Collaborate with design and development teams on control systems
- Document system concepts, mission statements and platform integration
- Verify and validate complex system designs against specs
- Support proposal development with technical writing and cost estimates
- Produce technical documentation, specifications and standards
