Job summary
MOur Clientle Systems seeks a Senior Software & Controls Engineer to join an Advanced Systems team. You will write controls software and guide team execution while hands-on with programming, testing, and troubleshooting on real machines.
Expect to mentor others, improve processes, and collaborate across hydraulics, electronics, and vehicle systems to deliver customer-specific solutions. 10% travel is anticipated.
Qualifications
- 5+ years in controls, embedded controls, or related engineering.
- Strong hands-on programming with listed environments.
- Experience leading projects or improving engineering processes.
Responsibilities
- Develop application software for electronic control of machines.
- Lead software and controls projects while continuing to code.
- Guide team members and review technical approaches.
- Improve software development processes, testing, and documentation.
- Program with CODESYS, Structured Text, C/C++, MATLAB/Simulink.
- Integrate controllers, HMIs, sensors, CAN networks, hydraulics.
- Test and validate software on lab equipment and vehicles.
- Collaborate across engineering disciplines on complete systems.
- Mentor engineers and technicians as the team grows.
