This hybrid position is based at the Addison, TX headquarters and supports both sales and operations. Ideal candidates combine extensive PLC/relay control experience with strong technical writing and the ability to travel as needed to support projects across

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in EE or ECE from an accredited program.
10–15+ years’ experience designing and implementing control systems for OEM equipment.
Experience designing control panels based on relay and PLC logic.
Experience writing PLC control logic (Siemens, Rockwell, GE, Modicon).
Knowledge of plant process control and monitoring.
Working knowledge of NEC and NFPA codes.
Proficiency in technical writing.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Responsibilities

Design and layout of custom systems for approval and make changes as necessary.
Perform equipment selection and design of instrumentation and control packages.
Review P&ID’s, process control narratives, and instrument lists with the Project Engineer.
Prepare I/O lists and specifications with bid documents.
Analyze project needs, schedule, quality issues, and costs to ensure competitive results.
