Role: Senior Control System Engineer

This role is pivotal in electrical and process automation design for Metso SVS Engineering, supporting product development and customer project delivery. Key responsibilities include industrial electrical engineering, process control design, network architecture, and MES/ERP integrations. You will design automation systems, develop control architectures, create electrical panels, and ensure system compliance with customer specifications. Collaboration with internal teams, external partners, and suppliers is essential, along with troubleshooting and maintaining industry best practices in electrical engineering and automation.

What we're looking for:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation Engineering, or equivalent.
• 7+ years (10+ preferred) in industrial automation and control systems.
• Expertise in PLC development (Rockwell, Siemens); ABB and Schneider are a plus.
• Experience with DCS, SCADA, HMI (InTouch a plus), and APC systems.
• Knowledge of SQL for industrial integration is preferred.
• Familiarity with industrial fieldbus protocols (ASi, IO-Link, EIP, Modbus, Profinet).
• Hands-on experience in controls, instrumentation, and system commissioning.
• Experience in OEM process automation, MV motors, project management, training, and functional safety is a plus.
