Job summary

Northwest Energy Efficiency Alliance (NEEA) is seeking a Senior Contracts Specialist to support the Contracts/Legal Team and internal contract owners in a high-volume, dynamic contracting environment. The role focuses on accurate contract administration, issue resolution, and cross-functional collaboration with vendors and internal teams.

The position is based in the Portland, OR metro area with a hybrid work location; candidates must be able to work at least 2 days per week onsite. U.S.

Qualifications

• Experience in contract administration and drafting
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams and vendors

Responsibilities

• Review contract specs and documents; coach Owners on next steps and assign tasks
• Coordinate with Contracts/Legal, Finance, IT, and vendors; provide KPI reporting
• Draft commercial and technical requirements for vendor agreements; describe activities/deliverables
• Manage vendor vetting and contracting stages: intake, approvals, execution
• Ensure contract docs are accurate and uploaded in SharePoint; resolve discrepancies
• Perform quality control on data in financial systems; fix issues found during review
• Triages complex contracting issues and provides proactive cross-functional support
• Prepare contract packets for approvals and signatures; document processes and decisions
