Job summary

Northwest Energy Efficiency Alliance (NEEA) in Portland, OR is seeking an Experienced Senior Contracts Specialist to support a high-volume contracting environment. You will work with the Contracts/Legal Team, internal contract owners, and external partners to ensure timely administration of contracts and related activities.

Hybrid role requiring at least 2 days per week onsite, with eligibility to work in the US.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., pre-law, business).
• 3–4+ years of experience with contract administration and/or project support.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SharePoint; familiar with financial systems.

Responsibilities

• Review contract specifications and documents; coach owners on next steps.
• Proactively communicate with stakeholders and report on KPIs.
• Draft commercial and technical requirements for vendor agreements.
• Manage vendor vetting and multiple contracting stages.
• Ensure documentation is accurate and uploaded per process requirements.
• Perform quality control in financial systems and triage issues.
• Collaborate across teams to support contracting processes; provide training.
