Job summary

Nature Conservancy is seeking a Contracts Specialist II to understand DOA and power of attorney structures, advise staff on who may sign, update DOA lists, and draft new DOAs as needed. You will work with Legal to resolve authority issues and supervise file compilations for contractual agreements.

You will lead trainings on standard agreements, mentor CCSs, and collaborate with project and award managers and legal to improve templates and workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; 3 years experience or equivalent combination.
• Experience in contracting processes and related tasks.

Responsibilities

• Understand DOA and power of attorney structures and advise staff on signing authority.
• Update DOA lists and draft new DOAs as needed.
• Supervise compilations of auditable files for contractual agreements and coordinate with Internal Audit.
• Lead trainings on TNC contractual agreements and improve workflows with Legal.
