Job summary

The Nature Conservancy is seeking a Contracts Specialist II to manage delegation of authority and advise staff on signatory roles. The role includes maintaining DOA lists and coordinating with the Legal Department.

You will lead trainings, mentor teammates, and supervise contract file compilations and tracking systems while developing standard templates to streamline workflows for conservation projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 3 years of experience in contracting.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional teams.
• Experience with business process analysis and improving workflows.

Responsibilities

• Oversee DOA (delegation of authority) processes and update lists.
• Draft and issue new DOAs; coordinate with Legal.
• Supervise file compilations for contractual agreements and audits.
• Lead trainings for Contracts Specialists and staff.
• Mentor CCSs; possibly supervise Contracts Administrators.
• Develop standard agreement templates with Legal; improve workflows.
• Improve tracking systems for projects and payments.
• Coordinate with Internal Audit as needed.
