Job summary

Hut 8 is seeking a highly organized Contract Specialist, Principal to support the Legal team in Miami, FL. You will own the first-pass review and drafting of routine commercial agreements, manage contract intake, and maintain templates and systems to drive efficiency and reduce risk.

Responsibilities include reviewing NDAs and vendor agreements, drafting from templates, maintaining clause libraries, coordinating signatures, and providing monthly contract metrics.

Qualifications

• 3–7+ years of contract review and lifecycle management experience.
• Strong knowledge of NDAs, vendor agreements, and services contracts.
• Experience reviewing high-volume NDAs and redlining independently.

Responsibilities

• Perform first-pass review and redlining of NDAs, vendor agreements, SaaS contracts, and standard services agreements using established playbooks.
• Draft contracts from approved templates and apply fallback language.
• Escalate complex or high-risk issues to General Counsel.
• Triage contract requests and route them appropriately.
• Maintain contract status trackers, renewals, and expirations.
• Ensure complete documentation prior to execution (SOWs, exhibits, insurance certificates, data protection terms).
• Keep templates current and aligned with risk posture; update playbooks with attorneys.
