Job summary

Noor Staffing Group is seeking a Senior Contracts Paralegal to own the full commercial contracting lifecycle across the business, with emphasis on cloud, software, vendor, licensing, confidentiality, and procurement deals.

You will negotiate terms from first draft to signature, partner with Procurement, InfoSec, Technology and Finance, develop templates and clause libraries, mentor teammates, and drive efficient governance while managing risk and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent mix of education and experience.
• Paralegal certificate from ABA-approved program or comparable experience.
• 10+ years in progressively senior paralegal roles with real negotiation experience.
• Track record with complex commercial contracts including cloud and software.
• Strong writing and communication; ability to manage priorities independently.

Responsibilities

• Own lifecycle of commercial agreements including cloud, SaaS, software, and AI deals.
• Negotiate terms on data use, security, privacy, and SLAs with vendors.
• Coordinate between Procurement, InfoSec, Tech, Finance, Compliance, and Risk.
• Develop templates, clause libraries, playbooks, and AI-assisted tools.
• Mentor paralegals on negotiation techniques and consistency.
• Conduct legal research and contract interpretation; involve outside counsel when needed.
• Identify opportunities to speed cycle times and improve governance.
• Handle confidential information with good judgment and take on additional duties.

Job description

Our client is seeking a Senior Contracts Paralegal to join their Legal Department and take ownership of commercial contracting across the business. This person will drive agreements from first draft to signature, with deep focus on cloud, technology, software, vendor, licensing, confidentiality, and procurement deals.

What You'll Do

• Own the full lifecycle of commercial agreements, cloud, SaaS, software, and AI deals included, weighing legal risk against what the business actually needs
• Sit across the table from vendors, consultants, and technology providers, negotiating terms like data use, security, privacy, and service levels within company guidelines
• Act as the connective tissue between Procurement, InfoSec, Technology, Finance, Compliance, Risk, and business teams, coaching partners on strategy and standards along the way
• Build and maintain the tools of the trade, templates, clause libraries, playbooks, and procedures, while championing smart use of approved AI tools
• Mentor other paralegals on negotiation approach, keeping quality and consistency high across the team
• Dig into legal research, contract interpretation, and regulatory requests, looping in outside counsel when needed
• Spot opportunities to speed up cycle times and tighten contract governance
• Handle confidential information with good judgment, and take on other legal or operational work as it comes up

What You'll Need

• Bachelor's degree required, or an equivalent mix of education and relevant experience
• Paralegal certificate from an ABA approved program, or comparable experience
• 10+ years in progressively senior paralegal roles, including real negotiation experience in house or at a major firm
• A track record with complex commercial contracts, cloud, software, professional services, vendor, licensing, confidentiality, and procurement among them
• A solid grasp of contract risk, privacy, cybersecurity, and cloud and AI related terms
• Comfort with AI tools and how they fit into legal work
• Strong writing and communication instincts
• The ability to juggle multiple priorities independently, without missing a beat

Nice to Have

• Background in financial services, banking, payments, fintech, or another regulated industry
• Hands on negotiation experience with cloud, SaaS, technology, or AI agreements
• Comfort reviewing privacy, cybersecurity, and data related contract terms
• A history of working cross functionally with Procurement, Technology, InfoSec, and Compliance
• Familiarity with contract lifecycle management systems or similar legal tech

Details

Pay range: $115,000 to $140,000 depending on experience + Bonus

This position requires the ability to perform the essential functions of the role, which may include standing for extended periods, bending, reaching, and lifting up to 50 pounds on an occasional basis, with or without reasonable accommodation.
