Job summary

The Illinois Tollway is seeking a Senior Contract Negotiator to provide senior-level support to the Purchasing Services Manager and/or the Procurement and Construction Services Manager. The incumbent will handle strategic negotiations for all contracts and contract-related instruments, including IFBs, RFPs, and PSBs, and will oversee complex procurements across goods, services, and professional areas.

Qualifications

• Some college level coursework or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of three (3) years of purchasing experience including contract development and contract negotiations.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate contracts, renewals, amendments, change orders, terms and conditions, MOUs and other contract instruments.
• Lead high-level evaluations for Requests for Proposals and Professional Services Bulletins.
• Supervise and review work of Senior Buyers, Contract Analysts, and Buyers for accuracy.
• Provide training and guidance on procurement processes to staff and vendors.
• Develop scopes of work, specifications, and sourcing methods for solicitations.
