Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Contracts Manager to join our Contracts department in Tampa, Orlando, Miami, FL or Austin, TX. The role covers all dimensions of contract administration, negotiation, and delivery for major contracts, with a focus on compliance and risk mitigation.

You will draft and review client contracts, NDAs, teaming agreements; lead negotiations from proposal to close-out; and mentor junior staff while staying current with state laws and regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field; with 8+ years of relevant experience or MBA with 6+ years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of state law and regulations; experience with multiple contract types and performance-based contracting.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills; ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
• NCMA Contract Management credentials preferred.
• Experience with Design/Build contracts preferred; knowledge of Progressive Design Build risks.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate, administer, and document major contracts for public and private clients.
• Draft, review, and negotiate client-facing contracts, NDAs, teaming agreements, renewals and related matters.
• Lead or assist negotiations from proposal stage to project close-out with regulatory compliance.
• Review solicitations to ensure contractual and commercial compliance is achievable.
• Coordinate approvals of negotiations and subcontracts; advise on risk mitigation.
• Mentor internal subcontract administrators and provide leadership guidance.
• Maintain current knowledge of contractual procedures and practices.
• Perform other duties as required by supervision.
