Job summary

Kardigan is seeking a Contracts Manager to oversee the full contract lifecycle for Prolaio while embedded within Kardigan. You will draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of agreements, partnering with stakeholders and ensuring compliance with policies and laws.

The role reports to the VP, Corporate Law and is based in Chicago with a hybrid schedule. The ideal candidate has 7+ years in contracts, with at least 5 years in pharma/biotech, and strong drafting, negotiation, and communication

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; paralegal certification preferred.
• 7+ years in contracts with a minimum of 5 years in pharma/biotech
• Proven drafting, negotiation, and independent management of complex agreements.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate service, consulting, NDA, and SOW contracts.
• Translate business needs into clear contract language with risk balance.
• Ensure terms comply with laws and company policies.
• Support CLM tool implementation and track obligations.
• Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders and manage renewals.
