Job summary

QinetiQ US is seeking a Contracts Administrator to join our team and support government contracts across a range of programs. The successful candidate will report directly to the Director of Contracts, improve processes, deliver internal training, and assist with pre- and post-award actions.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of experience in T&M/FFP/cost reimbursable contracts, plus familiarity with FAR/agency clauses. DoD security clearance is required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 3+ years leading T&M, FFP, and cost reimbursable contracts.
  • Experience in contracts proposal support and contract development, negotiation, and management.
  • Ability to identify and mitigate risks in contractual language.
  • Familiar with FAR and agency supplements.
  • Proactive with Federal regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication with internal/external customers.
  • Experience negotiating NDAs and TAs.
  • Strong organization, detail orientation, and multitasking in fast-paced environments.
  • Proficient in MS Word and MS Excel.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and negotiate nondisclosure agreements and teaming agreements.
  • Negotiate and finalize Government contract agreements with post award management.
  • Support program management to ensure contract compliance.
  • Understand FAR/DFAR flowdowns and agency clauses.
  • Support multiple contracts and internal customers.
  • Advise management on RFP requirements and risks.
  • Negotiate and administer a high volume of contract actions.
  • Communicate issues and propose solutions to contractual challenges.
  • Support supply chain and subcontracts as advisor.
  • Must obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.

Position Overview

QinetiQ is seeking a Contracts Administrator to join our team!

The successful candidate will report directly to the Director of Contracts. This individual will have experience making enhancements and/or creating existing processes, procedures and templates, delivering internal training for key stakeholders, as needed, and supporting pre and post award actions.

Responsibilities
  • Cradle to grave contracts administration including but not limited to preparing and negotiating nondisclosure agreements and teaming agreements;
  • Negotiating, and finalizing Government contract agreements providing post award contract management and administration
  • Support and drive program management support that stay consistent with contract requirements and company goals
  • Understands mandatory flowdowns when it comes to FAR/DFAR and other agency clauses
  • Capable of supporting multiple contracts and internal customers
  • Able to understand Government RFP requirements, advise management on potential risk
  • Negotiate and administer a high volume of contract actions
  • Effectively communicate issues and propose solution(s) to solving contractual challenges.
  • Performs other duties, including special projects,associated with this position, as assigned by management.
  • Support Supply Chain and Subcontracts as an advisor when necessary.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.
Required Qualifications
  • A bachelor’s degree is required .
  • 3 + years of experience in leading T&M, FFP, and cost reimbursable efforts related to:
  • contracts proposal support
  • contract development, negotiation, and management, including identifying applicable prime contract flow down clauses and assisting with the creation of documentation and files
  • Must have srong critical thinking skills and ability to identify , communicate and mitigate risks in contractual language.
  • Strategic understanding of how the contracts function contributes to program success through successful negotiation, strong customer relationships and proactive contract management.
  • Must be familiar with the FAR and be willing to research agency supplements, as appropriate .
  • Must be proactive and put in effort to stay up to date on Federal Regulatory requirements
  • Must have good communications skills for internal, external customers
  • Must be familiar with negotiating NDAs and TAs
  • Must be organized, detail oriented, and demonstrate strong time management and critical thinking skills and be able to coordinate and prioritize multiple projects with limited supervision in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must have the ability to research issues and to propose innovative alternatives to solving challenges.
  • Must have excellent MS Word and MS Excel skills.
Pay Transparency

The salary range for this role is $78,600- $129,700 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. QinetiQ US considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
