Job summary

Vertex Pharmaceuticals LLC seeks a Sr. Manager, Contract Management to lead the full contract lifecycle across a broad range of agreements. You will partner with Legal, OBIE and Strategic Sourcing to ensure compliant, timely contracting that supports business objectives.

You will oversee a small team, drive process improvements, and maintain audit-ready records in CLM systems while aligning with internal policies and signature workflows. This role is hybrid and based in Boston, MA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or Law and 6–7 years in contracting.
• Experience in pharmaceutical sector and contract lifecycle management.
• Strong ability to collaborate with Legal, OBIE and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end contract lifecycle for buy-side agreements.
• Advise on contracting approach, risk and timelines with stakeholders.
• Coordinate reviews and approvals with Legal, Finance, Privacy, and others.
• Maintain audit-ready contract records in CLM systems.
• Develop and update standard operating procedures for contracting.
• Drive process improvements to reduce cycle times.
• Manage a small team of contractors and mentor colleagues.
