Capital Search Group is seeking a Contracts Manager in Fairfax, VA for a GovK client. The role leads a 3-5 person team, managing a small portfolio through the full contract lifecycle and reporting to the Director of Contracts.

Emphasis on compliance, program consistency, and clear communication as development moves into production. The ideal candidate has 8+ years of GovK contract administration and negotiation experience, with proven leadership in hardware development and production programs,

Qualifications

• 8+ years' GovK contract administration and negotiation experience.
• Experience/leadership supporting hardware development and production programs (LRIP, Full Rate, Sustainment).
• Experience leading or mentoring contract professionals.
• Strong knowledge of FAR/DFARS and contract types (T&M, FFP, cost-type).

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 3-5 contract professionals.
• Oversee full contract lifecycle and manage a small portfolio directly.
• Serve as the primary escalation point for the team.
• Ensure compliance and drive consistency across programs transitioning from development into production.
• Improve communication flow across development to production phases.
