CAE USA is seeking a qualified and dedicated Manager, Contracts to lead a team of contracts professionals supporting negotiation and administration of government and commercial contracts. This position will be located in Tampa, FL and will report to the Director, Contracts.

The primary role is to manage a team of contract administrators, oversee contractual activity and negotiate customer contracts and agreements to optimize the company’s interests.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in business management, finance, accounting or related field.
• Minimum 12 years of government contracting experience.
• Experience in developing talent and growth plans for subordinates.
• Knowledge of FAR/DFARS and supplements.
• Experience with DoD contracting and competitive/sole-source proposals.
• Experience drafting, vetting and negotiating contracts and schedules.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and mentor a team of contract administrators across all contract phases.
• Oversee workload planning to cover programmatic contractual needs.
• Develop development plans to grow team members’ skills.
• Help create negotiation strategies and assess risk exposure.
• Foster strong relationships with customers (foreign and domestic) and internal partners.
• Personally negotiate and administer contracts and related agreements (PIA/NDA, Teaming, License).
• Coordinate with BD, Finance, Procurement, Operations, Program Management and customers for policy compliance and risk mitigation.
• Provide regular updates to senior leadership on negotiations, issues and opportunities.
