Job summary

CAE USA Inc. in Tampa, FL seeks a qualified Manager, Contracts to lead a team of contract professionals, oversee negotiation and administration of government and commercial contracts, and support operational activities.

The role reports to the Director, Contracts and requires managing workload, risk, and cross-functional collaboration with internal teams and customers. The position emphasizes leadership, DoD contracting expertise, and adherence to corporate governance while ensuring optimal

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or equivalent in business/finance or related field.
• 12 years government contracting experience, or 10 years with graduate degree.
• Experience drafting, vetting, and negotiating DoD contracts and related agreements.
• Knowledge of FAR/DFARS and supplements.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of contract administrators through all contract phases.
• Ensure adequate coverage for programmatic contractual needs.
• Develop growth plans and conduct staff development.
• Develop negotiation strategies and assess risk with senior management.
• Coordinate cross-functionally with BD, Finance, Operations, PM and customers.
• Personally negotiate and administer contracts and related agreements.
• Provide leadership updates via weekly/monthly reports and briefings.
