Job summary

People Technology And Processes is seeking a Contracts Manager II located at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD. This role provides senior-level acquisition and contract planning expertise essential for the execution of programs within CPE IEW&S. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s in Business and at least five years of contracting experience.

Responsibilities include reviewing acquisition documents, analyzing contract metrics, and serving as a liaison with program managers. Certification as a DAU Contracting Level II is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business.
• Minimum of five years’ experience in contracting or database management.
• DAU Contracting Level II Certified or industry equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert review and guidance on critical acquisition documents.
• Prepare and analyze contract metrics, establish and monitor contract milestones.
• Act as a liaison between the PMs and ACC throughout the acquisition lifecycle.
• Provide technical expertise in document/policy writing during the Integrated Product Team process.
• Assist with Program Status Reviews and coordinate contract training.
• Perform risk analysis on contracting milestones.
• Provide acquisition management support services for the Headquarters Office.
• Develop and implement methods, processes, and tools for efficiency.
