Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Contracts Manager to join its legal team supporting Alexa, focusing on negotiating services agreements, licenses, and distribution deals across AI-driven consumer technologies.

You will maintain contract templates, provide strategic advice to cross-functional partners, and drive process simplification using contract tooling and AI, while ensuring compliance with internal policies and external requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• 5+ years of contracts management, paralegal, or similar experience.
• Experience reviewing, drafting, and negotiating commercial contracts.

Responsibilities

• Draft and negotiate a wide variety of contracts, including services agreements and license and distribution deals
• Oversee a contracts database and business facing guidance
• Develop and maintain contract templates, fallbacks guides, training materials, and operating procedures
• Provide strategic contracting advice to business team members across multiple businesses
• Develop and drive continuous process improvement and simplification using contract tooling and AI
• Serve as a point of contact and subject matter expert for cross-functional teams
