Job summary

L3Harris Technologies in Texas is seeking a Senior Specialist, Contracts to administer, extend, negotiate, and manage contracts for DoD programs. The role covers proposal preparation, contract negotiation, and administration in accordance with FAR/DFARS and company policies.

The successful candidate will prepare bids, process reports, track performance, and coordinate with customers, management, and program teams to ensure on-time, compliant contract execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with minimum 6 years of experience; graduate degree with 4+ years; or 10+ years experience in lieu of a degree.
• Minimum 1 year experience with Defense programs and FAR/DFARS.
• US citizen required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare contractual letters, Terms & Conditions, representations for DoD proposals.
• Provide audit support for major proposals and administer contracts.
• Interpret contract requirements and track performance to requirements.
• Coordinate with customers, management, and program teams to resolve issues.
• Serve as primary liaison for contractual communication with customers.
