Job summary

ScioTeq LLC in Duluth, Georgia, seeks a Contracts and Trade Compliance Specialist to review, negotiate, and administer customer contracts while ensuring ITAR, EAR, and CUI compliance. The role partners with Sales, Business Development, and Program Management to protect contractual and licensing records.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree, 3+ years in contracts/export compliance, and strong negotiation, communication, and documentation skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, International Trade, Paralegal/Legal Studies, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years in contracts administration, procurement, or export/trade compliance.
• Experience preparing and submitting export license applications.
• Knowledge of ITAR, EAR, and CUI handling.
• Familiar with NDA, PIA, Teaming, Pricing, and Reseller agreements.
• Strong negotiation and written/verbal communication.
• Detail-oriented with confidential/export‑controlled data handling.
• Strong organizational and records-keeping skills.
• MS Office and records management systems proficiency.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with Sales, Business Development, Program Management, Finance, and Legal.
• DDTC (DECCS) and BIS (SNAP-R) licensing experience preferred.
• Export compliance certification (ECoP) preferred.
• Experience with FAR/DFARS flow-downs preferred.
• US Person required.
• Onsite in Duluth, Georgia.

Responsibilities

• Review customer purchase orders and contracts to ensure terms, prices, and delivery are acceptable.
• Approve and sign order travelers and sales order checks.
• Negotiate exceptions to terms and conditions with customers in coordination with the contracts team.
• Review all ScioTeq LLC agreements including NDA, PIA, Teaming, Pricing, and Reseller agreements.
• Maintain the current Agreement Log and secure contract storage.
• Work with Sales and Business Development on new opportunities and proposals.
• Prepare and submit ITAR/EAR license applications; document data transfers against licenses.
• Handle and document data transfers against export licenses, with proper authorization.
