Job summary

Gallagher seeks a highly motivated Senior Counsel, Contracts to join our in-house legal team. The candidate will advise business stakeholders on contract risk, negotiation strategy, and practical resolution of legal and business issues in a client-facing role.

You will draft, review, negotiate, and finalize a wide range of contracts, collaborate with business leads, and help drive consistent contracting practices across the organization.

Qualifications

• Requires a Law Degree and minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
• Able to manage multiple complex contracting matters and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, negotiate, and finalize client contracts, partnership agreements, and other documents.
• Ensure agreements reflect Gallagher's objectives and comply with laws and regulations.
• Collaborate with business leads and other legal representatives on strategic initiatives affecting contracts.
• Provide strategic advice on contractual and business risks and dispute issues.
• Address IP, privacy, data security, HIPAA and GDPR considerations in contracts.
• Support data metrics, reporting, and process improvements across contracting practices.
