Praxis Precision Medicines, Inc. is seeking a senior contracts attorney to lead our contracting function as we scale toward commercialization.

You will serve as the principal advisor on contracting for the company and will set the strategy, standards, and operating model for the contracting function—getting important work done today while helping us build smarter, more scalable ways of working for what comes next.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school and admission to a U.S. state bar.
• 5+ years of relevant legal experience in-house or at a law firm; regulated life sciences preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to assess legal risk in business contexts and provide practical recommendations.
• Proficiency with AI tools and interest in using technology to improve legal work and operations.
• Experience building or maintaining a contracting function, templates, playbooks, and governance.

Responsibilities

• Lead drafting, review, negotiation, and execution of complex agreements across clinical, development, manufacturing, commercial, and corporate activities.
• Define, own, and improve the end-to-end contract lifecycle and multi-year contracting roadmap.
• Provide practical legal guidance to Clinical Operations and related teams on start-up and execution of clinical trials.
• Collaborate with Compliance and other stakeholders to reflect legal/regulatory requirements in templates and playbooks.
• Leverage AI and other legal tech to speed, improve quality, and scale contracting operations.
