Job summary

Züm is seeking a Senior Contracts Manager to own the full contract lifecycle from design to execution at our Redwood City, CA headquarters. You will lead the Linksquares CLM platform, implement scalable processes, and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements in a high-volume environment.

You’ll collaborate with Legal, Finance, Procurement, Sales, and Operations to build templates, playbooks, and risk controls that accelerate deals while protecting the business.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of experience in contracts management, commercial legal operations, or related field.
• Hands-on experience administering and configuring a CLM platform (Linksquares strongly preferred)
• Proven track record as a commercial contracts negotiator, independently handling deals from kickoff through execution
• Ability to design and build contract processes, workflows, and systems from scratch
• Strong interpersonal skills with cross-functional stakeholders
• Self-starter mentality; comfortable with ambiguity and taking initiative
• Excellent organizational skills; manage high volume of contracts simultaneously

Responsibilities

• Sales & Commercial Support: assist the commercial legal team with RFPs and due diligence requests.
• CLM Ownership: own the Linksquares CLM platform end-to-end, including implementation, administration, configuration, user management, reporting, and optimization.
• Process & Systems Building: design and improve contract processes, playbooks, templates, and AI integrations within CLM.
• Contract Negotiation: independently draft, review, redline, and negotiate a wide range of contracts (government, vendor, customer, NDAs, SaaS, partnerships).
• Stakeholder Partnership: build trust with Legal, Finance, Procurement, Sales, and Operations teams.
• Playbook & Template Development: create playbooks, clause libraries, templates, and negotiation guides.
• Risk Management: identify contractual risks and protect business while moving deals forward.
• Training & Enablement: educate internal teams on contract processes and CLM tools.
• Knowledge & Records Management: maintain templates and repositories; annual reviews of templates.
• Legal Operations & Process Optimization: implement legal tech tools and workflows across teams.
• Document & Knowledge Management: manage shared drives and self-service resources.
• Cross-Functional Project Management: triage requests, track progress, support client diligence.
