Job summary

L3Harris Technologies in Salt Lake City is seeking a Senior Associate, Contracts to support proposal preparation, contract negotiation, and administration of government contracts, ensuring compliance with FAR, DFARS and ITAR.

You will review documents, prepare bids, analyze costs, manage risk, and serve as the customer point of contact across multiple programs. This role may require obtaining a DoD TS-SCI clearance in the future and offers challenging growth in a defense-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
• Graduate Degree or equivalent with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience.
• In lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years of prior related experience.

Responsibilities

• Review contractual documents to ensure adherence to company policy and government specifications.
• Examine estimates of material, equipment/services, production costs, performance requirements, and delivery schedules.
• Conduct proposal preparation, contract negotiation, and contract administration per company policies and government regulations.
• Initiate documentation to authorize work per contractual specifications.
• Prepare bids and reports; advise management of contractual rights and obligations.
• Respond to inquiries regarding contract obligations and revisions.
• Prepare, negotiate, and administer a large volume of contracts for various customers.
• Ensure contract acquisition and fulfillment per FAR, DFARS and ITAR.
• Review RFPs and support proposal preparation including engineering changes and associated negotiation.
• Perform risk assessment of terms and conditions and propose strategies to minimize risk.
• Collaborate with customers, management, and program teams to resolve issues and secure approvals.
