Job summary

Peraton seeks a Contracts Administrator to join our Defense Missions and Health Solutions sector in Kentucky. You will manage a diverse contract portfolio, ensure compliance with FAR/DFAR requirements, and guide project managers on contractual needs.

Responsibilities include start-up/close-out of projects, cost proposals, and maintaining strong customer relationships. The role requires US citizenship and extensive experience in government contracting environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field is required or equivalent experience.
• 12+ years of related work experience may substitute for the degree.
• Experience working on RFPs, proposal responses, contract pre-award meetings, negotiations, and contract finalization.
• Experience managing Government contracts and Subcontracts under FAR/DFAR and agency supplements.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of contracts of various types, complexities, and sizes while monitoring invoices/budgets against contracts and mitigating cost overruns.
• Ensure project compliance with government contracting requirements.
• Support Project Managers by providing guidance on contractual requirements.
• Manage the start-up and close-out process for all assigned projects.
• Assist with preparing cost proposals and narratives for projects.
• Develop strong customer relationships and lead teams to resolve issues and streamline processes.
• Analyze, prepare and negotiate contractual agreements such as Teaming, NDA, MOUs/MOAs as opportunities present.
• Support internal program teams with complex problem solving and creative solutions.
• Promote sound business principles to accomplish department and division objectives.
• Interfacing with all levels of management and the corporate organization leadership; strong written and oral communication are essential.
