Iron Mountain is seeking a Senior Contracts Administrator, Public Sector to join our Government Solutions team. The Senior Contracts Administrator will support strategic and complex opportunities with Federal, State, Local, and Education customers, manage existing contracts, and build relationships with government contracting officers and internal stakeholders. This remote position requires an individual who demonstrates leadership, critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently.
Responsibilities
- Support the Federal and State, Local, and Education (SLED) business teams by assessing pre- and post-contract awards, solicitations, and Statements of Work to ensure compliance and mitigate risks. This includes analyzing contract requirements, working with stakeholders to identify risks, supporting proposal preparation, and negotiating customer terms.
- Administer Public Sector prime/subcontracts and modifications, including contract analysis, changes, performance support, and compliance reporting under SLED buying vehicles.
- Review and complete Vendor Certification forms (Reps & Certs) for Public Sector customers and other business units.
- Review, negotiate, and process orders, task orders, awards, and modifications.
- Support compliance with the Federal Service Contract Act and SLED wage requirements, including subcontractor flow-down provisions and small business/diversity requirements.
- Assist in developing and implementing the Public Sector contract compliance program.
Qualifications
- Uncompromising integrity and dependability.
- Experience in Federal and/or SLED contracting, including commercial contracting concepts; familiarity with FAR Part 12 and GSA Federal Supply Schedules is preferred.
- Excellent organizational, process management, time management, analytical, and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail regarding contractual, statutory, regulatory, and company policy requirements.
- Self-directed with the ability to apply independent judgment and creativity to resolve contract and compliance issues.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong negotiation skills with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to advise and interact with upper management.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
- Ability to learn and operate contract repository databases and automated workflows.
