Job summary

Mitsubishi HC Capital America, Inc. is seeking a Contracts Administrator in Itasca, IL to manage the preparation, review and execution of finance documents for the Transportation Finance Division.

You will oversee day-to-day documentation processes and collaborate with dealers, brokers, and internal teams to satisfy credit and regulatory requirements. The role emphasizes accuracy, timely filing of UCC statements, and close coordination with legal counsel.

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree in Business or Finance, or demonstrated capability in similar capacity
• Five plus years related experience with Contract Administration of financial instruments (equipment leasing a plus)
• Knowledge of governing laws within the United States

Responsibilities

• Prepare documents for MHCA’s Transportation Finance Division in accordance with MHCA’s policies and procedures
• Perform pre-funding reviews/audits of all documentation packages submitted by dealers, brokers, and MHCA’s marketing staff to satisfy credit approval requirements
• Work closely with dealers, brokers, and MHCA’s marketing staff to correct documentation deficiencies
• Monitor the document safekeeping process as well as day-to-day tracking of documentation by scanning all executed documents into the Documentation Repository
• Ensure timely electronic filing of Uniform Commercial Code financing statements to perfect MHCA’s security interest
• Follow up on the Docs and Funding Incomplete queues to ensure prompt resolution
• Occasionally, contact insurance agents to obtain correct Certificates of Insurance per MHCA’s requirements
• Assist Senior Contract Administrators in processing Transfer and Assumptions, Residual Refinances as loans and leases, and other Amendments
• Ensure documentation is in strict compliance with all state and federal mandates and coordinate with legal counsel regarding documentation issues
• And all other duties as assigned
