Job summary

TECO Energy seeks a Sr. Contracts Admin to manage high‑value engineering and construction contracts for electric and natural gas facilities. The role covers negotiation, award, and ongoing commercial management with cross‑functional teams.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree and at least six years of direct contract/ procurement experience. Travel may be required across Florida and North America; the work is primarily onsite with some remote options.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required and will be independently verified.
• Minimum six years direct work experience in construction, project engineering, contract management or project management.
• Experience with procurement, supplier relations and contract administration.
• Knowledge of ERP/SAP systems and procurement compliance is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-procurement planning to identify contracting methods for engineered equipment and construction contracts.
• Assist project team during preparation of technical specifications and scopes of work.
• Advise on contractual risk and prepare contract pro-forms for bid solicitation.
• Lead contract formation, negotiation and award coordination with internal stakeholders.
• Provide contract administration support during performance, including handling change orders and disputes.
