Job summary

Accenture is seeking a Contracting Counsel Manager in Chicago to lead complex client transactions, draft and negotiate master services, outsourcing, SLAs, and SaaS agreements. The role requires coordinating with senior leadership on legal risks and mentoring junior CLPs in a fast-paced corporate setting.

Strong negotiation skills, IP and data privacy experience, and fluency in English and Spanish are essential. The position reports to the Contracting Lead within the Corporate Functions group.

Qualifications

• JD and licensed to practice law in at least one US jurisdiction.
• Minimum 6 years of transactional experience in digital, consulting, systems integration, and/or outsourcing.
• Minimum 3 years negotiating Intellectual Property and Data Privacy issues preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead, structure, negotiate and close complex client transactions with a legal and business focus.
• Stay abreast of developments affecting the company and its industries to inform transactional practices.
• Educate and advise company executives on legal and risk management issues.
• Develop subject matter expertise and contribute to internal guidelines and toolkits.
• Support and implement Legal Group initiatives and seven contracting attributes.
