Job summary

Pie Insurance is seeking a Senior Contract Recruiter to join as a remote, independently contracted role. This 1099 position lasts 6 months, with a typical 40 hours per week, and will support Pie’s scaling initiatives across corporate and business groups, including Claims.

You will own the full-cycle recruiting process, partner with the People Partner to shape competitive offers, and guide candidates through a rigorous interview process in a fast-moving insurance environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in sourcing or full-lifecycle recruiting across multiple departments, including corporate functions.
• Experience with an applicant tracking system (ATS) and common sourcing tools, like LinkedIn Recruiter.
• Advanced communication skills, with the ability to deliver complex information effectively.
• Strong business acumen and the ability to solve problems quickly and effectively.
• Proven ability to manage high-volume, high-complexity searches and navigate ambiguity with stakeholders and candidates.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full-cycle recruiting process with speed and quality.
• Develop strategies to identify, attract, and engage top talent, focusing on passive sourcing.
• Partner with hiring teams to build hiring plans and align with objectives.
• Lead kickoff, interview panels, and debriefs for each search; shape offers with market insights.
• Coach hiring leaders through the process and maintain a world-class candidate experience.
• Build and maintain relationships across client groups and the Talent team.
