Health Care Service Corporation (HCSC) is seeking a Senior Manager in Contract Administration Operations to oversee the production of employer and member documents, maintain document controls, and lead a team ensuring regulatory compliance across all product lines.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree with 5 years of health insurance contract operations and management experience, or 9 years with management experience. Strong leadership, project management, and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; health insurance contract operations experience preferred.
• 5+ years in health insurance contract operations with 1+ year of management experience OR 9+ years in health insurance contract operations with 1+ year of management experience.
• Knowledge of health products, underwriting requirements, and contract funding arrangements.
• Strong analytical and reporting capabilities; proficient with MS Office; project management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to lead staff and collaborate across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Enterprise Contract Administration unit responsible for drafting, vetting and filing group and retail member documents.
• Oversee negotiations, signatures tracking and custom provisions for employer contracts.
• Maintain document version control and ensure updates align with policies and regulations.
• Develop and maintain standard and custom certificate language per DoI and internal policies.
• Hire, train, manage performance, and oversee budgets and succession planning.
• Lead special projects and legislative task forces; prepare routine performance reports.
