Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Contract Administrator (Level 2) to join its contracts team in Rocket Center, WV. The role covers the full contract lifecycle from proposal through closeout, with heavy interaction across finance, program management, and customers.

The successful candidate will manage complex contracts, support negotiations, ensure compliance with FAR/DFARS, and maintain data in the Contract Management System. A DoD Secret clearance is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 5 years of related experience or 2 years with a Bachelor's degree; or a Master's degree.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain DoD Secret clearance.
• Familiarity with FAR/DFARS clauses and government contracting basics.

Responsibilities

• Lead proposal preparation, contract negotiation and contract administration from proposal through closeout.
• Administer daily contract activities for various product lines and contract types; establish payment terms and monitor invoicing.
• Enter and manage data in the Contract Management System and related financial/delivery systems.
• Participate in customer meetings, ensure compliance with contract requirements and manage change processes.
• Negotiate NDAs and contract terms within company guidelines.
