Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Sector seeks a Contracts Administrator – Level 5 in Redondo Beach, CA (also Oxnard or Goleta). This 100% onsite role is pivotal in defining the art of the possible in mission-critical contracts with DoD and international aspects.

Responsibilities include negotiating complex terms, coordinating proposals, and ensuring compliance with FAR/DFAR while collaborating with finance, program, global supply chain, and security teams. Travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 12 years of professional experience, or Master’s with 10, or PhD with 8.
• Experience working large competitive DoD proposals.
• Experience negotiating and administering various DoD contracts.

Responsibilities

• Monitor contracts and related programs to ensure obligations are understood.
• Coordinate and prepare contract proposals for timely submission.
• Negotiate and administer complex DoD contracts with tight deadlines.
• Manage contract administration across company policies and customer specs.
• Collaborate with technical, program, finance, and security teams.
• Manage contract changes and maintain historical information.
• Review terms to mitigate risk in financials, delivery, IP and termination.
• Build customer confidence and maintain key relationships across locations.
• Enter contract data into management systems and prioritize multiple tasks.
