Job summary

Chugach Government Solutions, LLC seeks a Senior Manager, Program Finance to lead financial planning, execution and reporting for a major NASA program. You will oversee cost files, 533-series reporting, and collaboration with program management, engineering, scheduling, and contracts to ensure compliant, timely financial performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in program finance, preferably NASA.
• Experience with Cost Files and 533-series reporting.
• Strong understanding of government program requirements.
• Proven ability to lead teams and collaborate across disciplines.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Program Finance team supporting a complex NASA program and ensure compliance with NASA reporting.
• Oversee preparation, validation, and delivery of Cost Files and align with baselines.
• Manage development and submission of 533M, 533Q reports to format requirements.
• Develop program financial baselines, including BOEs and change control documentation.
• Collaborate with Program Managers to maintain performance metrics and IPM support.
• Drive continuous improvement in financial processes, tools and reporting.
• Present financial performance to executives and customer representatives.
• Mentor and develop finance team members with high standards.

Job Overview

The Senior Manager, Program Finance is responsible for leading all financial planning, execution, and reporting activities for a major NASA program. This role oversees cost management and customer financial deliverables, including development and review of Cost Files and preparation of NASA 533-series reports. The Senior Manager partners closely with Program Management, Engineering, Scheduling, and Contracts to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant financial performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Program Finance team supporting a complex NASA program, ensuring compliance with NASA financial reporting requirements.
• Oversee preparation, validation, and delivery of Cost Files, ensuring data accuracy and alignment with program baseline.
• Manage development, review, and on-time submission of NASA 533 reports (533M, 533Q), ensuring adherence to customer formats and requirements.
• Provide leadership in developing program financial baselines, including BOEs, cost volume support, and change control documentation.
• Collaborate with Program Managers to maintain accurate performance metrics and support Integrated Program Management (IPM) activities.
• Drive continuous improvement in financial processes, tools, and reporting.
• Present financial performance to internal executives and customer representatives.
• Mentor and develop finance team members; promote high standards of accuracy, accountability, and collaboration.

Job Requirements

Mandatory

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in program finance, preferably with NASA programs.
• Demonstrated experience supporting NASA programs, including Cost Files and 533-series reporting.
• Strong understanding of government program requirements.
• Proven ability to lead teams and collaborate within multi-disciplinary program environments.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work in a dynamic program environment.

Preferred

• Master’s degree in Business or related field.
• Experience with NASA-specific financial systems, formats, and reporting tools.
