Job summary

Novo Nordisk in Plainsboro, NJ, seeks an experienced leader to support the Director of Contract Excellence and Sourcing Operations in daily contracting execution and process improvement. The role collaborates across Finance, Legal, IT, Quality and Compliance to optimize contracting and payment processes.

The candidate will supervise a small team, drive KPI performance, and provide strategic guidance to stakeholders. Experience in CLM systems and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required and 10+ years in procurement/source-to-pay with contracting focus.
• Minimum 10 years of progressively responsible, relevant experience in procurement source-to-pay with emphasis on contracting.
• At least 3 years in people leadership and team guidance.
• Experience with Contract Lifecycle Management systems such as Coupa or Ironclad preferred.
• Advanced MS PowerPoint and MS Excel skills required.

Responsibilities

• Support the Director of Contract Excellence and Sourcing Operations in day-to-day contracting execution and continuous improvement.
• Lead the Contract-to-Pay process collaboration and drive stakeholder engagement.
• Supervise an Operations team of up to 4 members and ensure KPI alignment.
• Partner with stakeholders to provide strategic advice and governance on contracting matters.
• Adopt AI-enabled contracting tools and drive process improvements across platforms.
