Job summary

Novo Nordisk in Plainsboro, New Jersey, seeks a Senior Procurement professional to promote the NNI procurement methodology through strategic sourcing and category management. You will negotiate with suppliers, monitor contracts and drive value across Clinical Services and other indirect spend areas.

The role requires 3–5 years in procurement, strong analytical and leadership abilities, and proficiency with eSourcing tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• 3–5 years in Procurement, Strategic Sourcing and/or Purchasing, including indirect spend management.
• Experience across diverse sourcing categories; clinical services and other indirect spend exposure helpful.
• Pharmaceutical industry experience is helpful but not required.
• Strong influencing, communication, leadership and relationship-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Promote the use of the NNI Procurement Methodology through Category Management and Strategic Sourcing.
• Negotiate and monitor supplier contracts to secure best price and value.
• Conduct spend analysis and prepare reports to support sourcing decisions.
• Lead cross-functional teams to identify, select and source preferred supplier contracts.
• Ensure compliance with supplier agreements and monitor supplier performance.
