Job summary

State of Florida is seeking a Senior Management Analyst II for internal audit within the Department of Health, Office of Inspector General. The role focuses on complex audits of DOH contracts, including planning, fieldwork, and reporting engagements.

The incumbent will interact with staff at all levels and participate in cross-agency projects, with light travel required. A Florida Certified Contract Manager certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong computer skills, organizational ability and independent work ethic.
• Ability to use Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel effectively.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with management and staff at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Plan and document audit objectives, plans, and programs.
• Perform audit fieldwork using sampling, testing, and analysis.
• Prepare and revise draft reports; discuss findings with management.
