Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a senior pricing and contracts professional to drive pricing strategy for standard and custom products, negotiate terms, and lead contract lifecycle across the US market.

You will collaborate with sales, legal, pricing, and marketing to align pricing with market dynamics, profitability, and growth goals. The role requires strong analytical skills, stakeholder communication, and project leadership in a regulated medical device context.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent with 6+ years of relevant experience in Contracts or Pricing or equivalent experience.
  • Associate's Degree with 4+ years experience.
  • Bachelor’s Degree with 2+ years experience.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, or related field (Nice to Have).
  • Experience with contract management systems (e.g., Salesforce, SAP, or similar platforms) (Nice to Have).
  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros) (Nice to Have).
  • Previous experience in medical device, healthcare, or regulated industry (Nice to Have).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills (Nice to Have).
  • Ability to communicate complex information clearly and effectively with diverse stakeholders (Nice to Have).
  • Experience managing multiple projects and priorities in a deadline-driven environment (Nice to Have).
  • Knowledge of federal healthcare regulations and compliance standards (Nice to Have).
  • Process improvement or Lean Six Sigma certification (Nice to Have).
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) (Nice to Have).

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with sales, legal, pricing, and marketing to negotiate pricing strategies for standard and custom products.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor insights, and customer needs to inform pricing decisions.
  • Influence decision-making to optimize profitability and market positioning.
  • Own strategic contracting for specific therapies and customers across the US.
  • Lead creation and execution of contracts including price analysis, drafting, reviews, and compliance.
  • Partner with Field Sales and Medtronic customers to facilitate communication and execution of strategic initiatives.
  • Align with internal stakeholders through reviews and recommendations to grow margin and growth.
  • Coordinate with Contracting Support to ensure accurate contract administration.
  • Champion bid responses by analyzing market trends and customer needs for optimized pricing.
  • Manage customer quotations and bid requests ensuring pricing objectives and standards are met.
  • Oversee lifecycle of negotiated contracts from strategy to implementation to expiration.
  • Ensure pricing and product strategies are applied accurately and target renewals and price increases.
  • Leverage business and market knowledge to improve operational effectiveness.
  • Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Maintain a broad enterprise view and engage in special projects supporting business goals.

Job description

Responsibilities
